If you are travelling to, or through Asia, then you will most likely stop over in Singapore at least. Singapore is one of the biggest flight hubs in Asia, making it very easy to add a trip to this small Asian country to your itinerary.
So what does Singapore have to offer? Well think incredible shopping, a huge variety of delicious food, cutting edge architecture and lots and lots of photography opportunities.
Know before you go

Did you know you can visit Singapore even if it is not your final destination? If you have at least a four hour lay over in Changi airport you are actually eligible to take part in a free city tour. We took part when we were transiting through after visiting Indonesia.

If you are planning to stay a while in Singapore, you might be overwhelmed at the sheer amount of accommodation options. Singapore has a reputation for luxury, but not all luxury has to be financially out of reach for just a regular traveller. We stayed at the boutique Quincy Hotel, which came in cheaper than most no frills hotels in Australia. When you see the amount of extras on offer you will see why this hotel comes highly recommended by us.
