We flew into Buenos Aires, the first stop on our 5.5 month trip through South America. From there we went south, so it’s probably no surprise that all of our top 5 photos come from Argentinian Patagonia.
We had a few ups and downs during our visit to Bariloche, but one of the ups was definitely driving the Chico Circuit. This photo is from one of the viewpoints along that 25 km route.
El Chalten was my favourite spot in Argentina. El Chalten is Argentina’s newest town, and it has basically sprung up to cater to all the tourists who want to hike in the region. And it’s no surprise why El Chalten is so popular with visitors… it’s stunning. And the hiking is family friendly as well.
We went to El Calafate for one reason and one reason only… the Perito Moreno glacier. Our day long visit to the glacier was definitely one of our highlights of Argentina.
