London is, in my opinion, the hippest most happening city in the world. London is easily my favourite city. Everything is happening in London. But today, I am talking about markets… well… one market in particular.
Camden market is by far my favourite market in London.
Yes there are lots of crazy, cool, and unique markets in London, but Camden is my favourite. Of course, living near by in my early twenties certainly did something to cement my love of this market. Camden markets are full of the bright, the colourful, and the unique. It’s got antiques and rave gear. It’s got cool handmade jewellery, and funky imports from Japan. Oh and’s got awesome food vendors. I guess what I am trying to say, it that it’s got a lot of things.
Camden markets are open every day all year round. The markets are situated in several old warehouses, which means that it is a good rainy day weather attraction.
The closest tube station to Camden markets is Camden Town on the Northern Line. When you exit the tube station, turn right and walk down past another small (and crappy) market also called Camden Market, continue past a bunch of crazy shops and cafes, until you reach the Camden Lock Market.
Camden market is my favourite market in London. Whats yours?
