Tallinn’s Old City
In Spring 2008, I travelled through the three Baltic states; Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. Despite often being groups together, these three countries are very unique. The old town of Tallinn, the capital of Estonia is a great place to wander around and lose yourself among the medieval architecture.
I love this picture of the old man, smoking a cigarette in an alley of old Tallinn because it seems as if the picture is timeless. It could have been taken in any era or any year – and I feel it captures the Tallinn old city atmosphere well.
