I have been very honoured to have one of my articles published by the DIWYY blog. This well established website provides great information which is primarily targeted at female travellers, and their experiences. The website is for young women from the ages of 18-35, and it is designed to inspire and guide readers to travel, study, work, and volunteer abroad.
With this in mind, I thought they would be a fantastic place to pitch my article about my very own experience with the Katimavik program. The Katimavik program is for Canadian youth, aged 17 – 21, and is often the very first time that Canadian youngsters learn about travel. During the program you not only have to learn to get along with all your group mates, but you also spend several months travelling around Canada and volunteering full time.
But let’s not spoil the article – you can read it here at DIWYY!
The Katimavik experience is what inspired me to travel. What inspired you?
