When I first moved to London, I hated it. I was broke and London is crazy. I was lost in the giant world that is London town. But I soon found my feet. A friend got me a job, I found excellent house mates, and I started to learn my way around the city. After a month or two, I was absolutely head over heels with this town. I would give anything to be able to live in London again.
So I was super happy to be able to share this city with my husband and little boy when we visited on our 5 month backpacking with a baby adventure last year.
In this photo essay I present photos that I captured on our first day wandering around the city. We took the standard tourist route… a self guided walking tour that started at Buckingham palace and ended at Tower Bridge. London is full of hidden wonders and gems, but we wanted to show you the sights that serve as most peoples “London inspiration.”
